The mission of DAC PAC is cultivate versatile dancers and prepare students for a successful career in the dance field. Most of the students in this programs are training with a goal of pursuing dance in college as well as a career. Beyond technical training, the goal of DAC PAC is to teach students life skills that will assist them on whatever path they choose to take. We are committed to producing authentic, well-rounded people who excel in all areas of dance and life.
Dancers in DAC PAC train in jazz, ballet, tap, and modern dance throughout the week and on weekends rehearse for dance conventions and two major performances per season. The first performance is an evening of shorter length works, “competition” pieces. At the end of the season, the company presents a full length concert composed of longer concert pieces; choreography by such notables as Cheryl Copeland, Dominique Lomuljo, Cindy Salgado, Mike Esperanza, Gregory Dolbashian, Sidra Bell, Carlos Jones, and many others.
